Seth Oster, a co-founding Principal of ESG, has recently been appointed as Executive Vice President of Communications for the Motion Picture Association of America. Prior to his position at ESG, Seth was a senior executive at Screen Actors Guild who served as a Deputy National Executive Director and SAG's principal public spokesperson. Over the course of his professional career, Seth has held senior-level positions in entertainment, organized labor, political and high-tech sectors. He is a former top aide to U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein; served as Senior Vice President of the American Film Institute; Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for Napster; and has been an advisor to Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, the U.S. Telecom Association and other entertainment and technology ventures.
